Latest Sex cam site review: ImLive

Although I am fairly new to ImLive, is has turned into my favorite site for sex cam chatting.  The simple reason for that is that it is the best value of all the sites I have visited.

There are about 800 models on at any one time out of about 13,000, and they have a variety of many types: girls alone, matures, couples, etc.  The quality of the models is top notch and it rivals the other top sites (see Sites Rated).  It has unlimited favorites, a rating system that is thorough, but not cumbersome, a free chat feature before you purchase (albeit without video) and several bells and whistles such as a keyhole feature and a Happy Hour. 

Happy Hour works this way: if regular credits are purchased $50 and over, Happy Hour credits are issued as a bonus and may be used when models are on Happy Hour which occurs at any time.  When you are in a Happy Hour room, you take turns with others guest issuing commands for the models, so you are rarely in with the chathost alone.  It is a great feeling knowing you are "playing with the house's money." 

The lowest price for the chathosts on ImLive is .98 per minute and they actually GIVE you 20 seconds free.  This is a feature I have not found anywhere else and it helps in situations where you go into the wrong room, or find no chathost, etc. etc.  It asks you to rate your chathost in 5 simple categories immediately after the show which means most people rate the chathosts which increases accuracy.  Billing by the second is something that ImLive does which makes your credits stretch as they should.

   Getting Started

     The first thing you need to address when you start Sex Cam Chatting, is your computer.  Something reasonably up to date is recommended.  These sites do require money to be spent for naked shows, and you are wasting your money if your hardware is not reasonable.  You need at least a Pentium 4 computer or more with at least 1/2 Gig of RAM.   A monitor upgrade at this time, might be in order, as well.  Your internet connection needs to be broadband, DSL or the approximate equivalent.  Dial-up connections will waste your money.

     Once your hardware and connection are set, I recommend using Firefox as the browser.  It seems to work better than Explorer on the Cam Sites.   When Firefox is running, go to Tools, Options and enable JavaScript and Java.  Some sites will run Flash or other programs but in most cases they will have it to download right from the site.

     Your are going to need a credit card also, in order to see the shows.  You can chat free on several sites, but the nude shows cost money.  Some sites will take an online check, or even a mailed check, bit the easiest way is through a credit card.  The sites that process the cards are encrypted, and are very safe.

     Now you are ready to start surfing and chatting.  I recommend going to The Best Sites page and cruising the three sites there.  Definitely check out the ratings of all the sites and surf those too.   These sites are constantly being updated, so improvements are continual.

Do:

Leave this site immediately, if you are under 18 years old.

Insist on a free chat function so you can see what you are getting.

Establish with your host that she will do what you want.

Check whatever ratings the chathost has.

Chat first.  Attitude is everything and if the chathost is in a bad mood, your money will go to waste.

Fall in love.  There are many brutal stories of guys sending money to chathosts.  What a mistake.  If they ask for money, they are scamming you.
